Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does be part of how you think about it.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
