TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
